  1. Hi,

I want to explore neuronal circuits of brain. Is the download on your website related to it. Can I install it on Window 7.

    Thanks,
    Harry.

    • I’m not sure this database is what you are looking for. You can store neuronal circuit data and create pipelines to automatically analyze the data, but it does not include any data or analysis algorithms by default. The virtual machine can run on Windows if you want to install NiDB on a server of its own, the server must be Linux

  2. thanks for earlier replies.

you said server for software should be linux.
i have ubuntu on virtual machine over window 7 64 bit. so can i install software in it ?
how and where will i get image data supported in nidb software.

may i know why is software size too big ,if no default image or other data available in nidb software ?

    • NiDB can be installed onto a CentOS 6.x based Linux system. I have not tested it on Ubuntu. The virtual machine download is large because it includes the entire CentOS 6.x operating system and the FSL software.

If you are looking for just any old neuroimaging data, you can sign up for an account on the demo server and download the ABIDE dataset. There are also many other freely downloadable fMRI datasets available on the internet.
